🫧 Before First Use – Seasoning Instructions

Step 1: SOAK
Soak the clay kadai and lid in clean water for a full day (24 hours).

Step 2: WASH & DRY
After soaking, wash the kadai and lid thoroughly inside and outside to remove any dirt or clay particles. Let it dry completely in sunlight or in a dry place.

Make sure the kadai is completely dry before applying oil.

Step 3: APPLY OIL
Once completely dry, apply natural cooking oil generously inside and outside of the kadai and lid. You may use mustard oil, groundnut oil, sunflower oil, or another natural cooking oil.

Step 4: REST
Leave it for 5–6 hours or overnight to allow the oil to absorb well into the clay.

• Use on low to medium heat
• Avoid sudden temperature changes
• Avoid very high flames
• Keep the kadai completely dry before storing
• Follow the recommended care instructions for better performance and long life

🧼 Washing Instructions

For natural cleaning, you may wash using:

• Salt & Lemon
• Baking Soda
• Ash (Raakh)

After every use, wash the kadai gently with water and a soft sponge. Avoid using harsh soap, strong detergent, chemical cleaners, or abrasive scrubbers.

After washing, wipe off excess water and allow the kadai to dry completely in sunlight or in a dry place before storing.
